PEC UTILITY - UNPROFESSIONAL BAD SERVICE!
The worst experience ever as a consumer, without any communication my electricity was disconnected on a sunday for an amount of -R2.46? Their app does not work, I have been trying to fund my wallet for the last week. I went away for the weekend and they decided to disconnect me! Very unprofessional company and I suspect they are discriminating against me. My account was never in arrears! Without any explanation why I was disconnected, I manages to pay via EFT R600 in advance with a promise that I will be connected immediately. Not happening, I am still without power. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY UTILITY MANAGEMENT!

PEC has been communicating extensively to all residents explaining the billing procedure and the change over to the smart prepaid system. All our communication included PEC’s contact details to assist in any enquiries and supp**** information of how to fund your wallet.
Your prepaid meter disconnected due to depleted funds. No payment towards utilities was made up to date. As explained on numerous occasions, this is a smart prepaid system where the meter will automatically disconnect if there are no funds available in your wallet.
To restore the electricity to your unit, you need to make payment towards your prepaid wallet. You mention a payment made of R600 via EFT. Will you kindly send us proof thereof?
Kind regards
