PEC installs water meters and power meters. They allow landlords to place any debt the landlord deems fit on the system even if there is a dispute. For example.If the landlord wishes to bill you for something an you disagree they can simply instruct PEC to deduct it everytime you buy power or water.So if you buy R500 power you only get R75's worth. Wich is ******* in terms on the rental housing act you need a court order to recover any funds.
