Atrocious Service from the Pretoria Group!

This company does not deserve a rating; my power has been disconnected for 4 days due to their inability to allocate my funds to the correct reference. I have sent a proof of payment and have followed up daily only to receive the same nonchalant response, (“ Your funds will only be allocated once it appears on the bank statement.”).

It baffles me that it has taken more than 72 hours and counting to fund my wallet.

Balwin has to let go of this service provider as it they don’t have their client’s best interest at heart.

Good day Mr Moagi

You are fitted with a smart prepay electricity meter at your unit, which is designed to switch off when funds are depleted in your e-wallet.

During the month of May 23 your funds got depleted 4 times, thus the electricity automatically disconnected.

Payments may take between 24 & 48 hours to allocate to your wallet due to normal banking delay times. Funds can only allocate once it reflects in our bank statement.

A proof of payment does not confirm that the funds have cleared, although it may help to trace the payment.

Furthermore, as you and all the tenants in your estate had been informed previously, when you fund your wallet during load shedding, additional time is needed to get the power restored due to the metering infrastructure fitted in the estate.

This is not a service issue and relies more on the management of your e-wallet.

Kindly ensure to make timeous payments before your funds get depleted.  Please make use of our APP to monitor the funds in your e-wallet.

Regards
AMI DEPARTMENT
