Accounting Department - Staff does not know Customer Service

I tried making a payment arrangement as I had unforseen circumstances this month and I really did not know what else to do, I emailed, the credit department Yolande van Gass ( who thinks she owns PEC), as I have done before to make an arrangement. She now informs me that they will cut off our entire complex's electricity because they need to pay it over to the council before the 23rd. I feel she is blatantly lying to me just because she does not wish to accomodate my request. I so wish we could change to someone else I will also definately be informing our complex of these new "rules" that YOLANDE says you have because if that is the case we would really not want to stay with you because if one person does not pay the entire complex have to be without power even though they paid? I don't think that is even legal?

PEC Utility Management is not obligated to allow any payment arrangements. Due to past payment arrangements and customers not adhering to such arrangements, PEC management decided in future not to allow any payment arrangement requests. We receive daily requests for payment arrangements all with their specific reasoning, so the question then is how to distinguish between which arrangement to allow and which not, and for this reason as well the decision was made not to allow payment arrangements.

I have also read through the correspondence between Mrs. Potgieter and Yolande van Gass and in no instance was any response by Yolande van Gass rude, with a bad attitude or incorrect. The feedback provided to you was factual information.

I hope you find the above in order and understand the reasoning behind our decision.
