******* *******
These ****mers do not deserve a single star. They over charge on their pre-paid electricity tariffs, hidden costs, violation of constitutional rights by threatening suspension of services on unfounded grounds. They charge ridiculous deposit amounts and inflate final bills refusing to provide detailed final account and refund deposits. Fees are increased as they please without formal written notice. Half the employees are beyond the legal working age and completely and utterly ***********. I am reporting these ****mers that I was forced to deal with for 10yrs.

02 Aug 2024, 15:30Dear Liezl Haramis PEC applies the approved published tariffs by NERSA. As known to the public, all municipality tariffs increase annually on 01 July. You may also refer to the Note printed on your account, where PEC informed customers about the annual municipal tariff increase. Your final account was for the billing period 14 June 2024 – 09 July 2024. From 14 June 2024 – 30 July 2024, your account was billed on the old tariff structure (2023/2024). The balance of 9 days until 9 July 2024, was charged according to the new tariff structure for 2024/2025. As a result, your detailed account shows two separate entries per utility, reflecting the split in tariffs. Your account has been closed as you vacated the premises. The outstanding balance was deducted from your risk deposit and the remainder credit will be refunded to you within 14 days.
You were promptly assisted by PEC advising all the information. You were also supp**** with the new 2024/2025 tariff pricing structure.
Kind Regards
Customer Service Department.
