Hi Senamile, we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. According to our records, you moved in on 1 June and moved out 1 August, your lease agreement was for 6 months (ending November). You were made aware of your early termination penalty outlined in the lease agreement if you were to cancel your lease early and you accepted the terms and proceeded with termination. In the lease agreement and exit email sent to you outlining exit procedures, you were made aware that there was a specific time you had to leave the unit as all our units are cleaned and prepared for the next tenant moving in on the 1st. You did not adhere to this time and so, as per the email and lease, you were charged a penalty. The exit costs, early termination penalty, late move out, and an outstanding amount owed by you were all outlined in an email to you from my colleague. Kindly note that these amounts added up to more than your deposit and you were, in fact, owing money which was written off as bad debt by the Landlord.
