Stay away from PAY JUST NOW

DONT TOUCH THIS PAY JUST NOW PORTAL. I did an online purchase this morning and received confirmation from my bank after I had authorised the payment …all in order. Before I could conclude I received a transaction declined from pay just now. The debit was reflecting as having successfully been deducted from my account. When I didn’t receive any confirmation from the merchant I then tried to contact Pay just now by phone, complete waste of time, 3 separate calls and 10 mins on hold each time. Chat box came next - also pathetic, after 4 attempts I got hold of a human. *********** at best. Again told that the transaction was not successfully taken. I sent screenshots of all the proof etc and also the fact that the merchant had not received the order ( obviously). I was then told to send a selfie with my ID, did that , waited again only to be told to go onto app and change pin and do another selfie! This was not possible as the app did not give that option. All this took over 2 hours to get nowhere. My bank confirmed the transaction was successful. I have had to request my bankers to get involved and have reported this as ***** and have to cancel card at great inconvenience to myself . All because Pay just now are an absolute disgrace and shambles! Merchants as well please stay away from promoting this so called paygate. Unprofessional conduct. Have also tried emailing as a last resort - no feedback!
