Enabling *****ulent Business

PayJustNow did not process my original payment. However, PayJustNow has since replaced the previous payment provider on the Tech Trek (techtreksa.store) website and is now actively enabling this merchant to continue operating.

Tech Trek took payment from me for goods that were never delivered and then became completely uncontactable. All phone numbers and email addresses on their website do not work, and the listed physical address is merely a rent-a-desk / walk-in office facility in Sandton. This is behaviour consistent with *****ulent trading.

PayJustNow has been formally notified of these facts. Despite being made aware that:

The merchant has a documented non-delivery issue

Consumers have suffered financial loss

The business appears to be operating deceptively

PayJustNow has:

Failed to acknowledge or respond to my communications

Failed to remove or suspend its payment facilities from the Tech Trek website

Allowed its brand to be used to legitimise a *****ulent operation

By remaining as the payment provider for Tech Trek after credible warnings were raised, PayJustNow is enabling ongoing consumer harm.

Payment providers have a responsibility to act swiftly when ***** risks are identified. PayJustNow’s silence and inaction are unacceptable and expose the public to further losses.

Until PayJustNow removes its payment facilities from Tech Trek and transparently explains its merchant vetting and escalation process, consumers should treat PayJustNow-enabled merchants with extreme caution.
