******** credit search done on my name in 2023 WITHOUT my permission, but have had the account since 2020

Unbelievably bad customer service. They did a hard credit search on my name without my consent in 2023 but I have had a Payjustnow account since 2020? They cannot give me any answers either as to why they did a credit check on my name without my consent. Have subsequently closed this account, but I still have a lower credit score because of them as it now looks like I have 'app****' for credit which I do not need. Bunch of *********** people here.
