16 May 2023, 06:49We tried to debit the instalment on the 1st (your selected instalment date) and again on the 2nd May which failed and failed again on the 9th May.
Your instalments will always be interest and fee free as long as you pay on time. If you miss a payment, you have until midnight to make sure that the correct card is set as the default card on your profile, to ensure that there are sufficient funds on the card to pay the instalment without any late fees. You can also make a manual payment for your instalment.

We always send an SMS to the mobile number on your profile a day before your payment to remind you before we collect your instalment/s.
If you do happen to miss a payment, we charge R125 (incl VAT) every time we reprocess this payment. We do this weekly, however the total of these reprocessing fees will never be more than 25% of the value of your transaction.
Remember we don't make money when our shoppers don't pay, and we reward good repayment behaviour over time, so keep your account up to date or even better, use a cash flow tool to get to the next pay day and settle early.
We do a couple of things to try to prevent that (listed below). Aside from our late fee structure (which is designed to be a deterrent* not a revenue stream), PayJustNow is 100% free for you to use - No month fees and more importantly ZERO interest to the consumer.
- *to demonstrate this we send you an SMS the day before the debit was due.
- When it fails we send another SMS and an email that explains that you have time to remedy the situation before a late fee applies. On the email we include a link to explain this in our FAQ's too.
If you are unable to meet your repayment commitment, please contact us on *** at least 1 full working day before you miss your payment or chat with us in our live agent chat widget in the app.

16 May 2023, 06:50The payment response is "Invalid Amount" - This means your daily limit for payments in your bank app is set to a limit lower than the amount due too.

I did mention that my salary got delayed at work
I did want to pay in time but it's was beyond my control
So I'll make that manual payment of the actual amount I owe not that ridiculous penalty fee
