ayJustNow and Builders Passing Responsibility for Unresolved Failed R2,118 Transaction

Merchant: Builders Warehouse Wonderpark Transaction Date and Time: 23 May 2026 at 14:44 Amount: R2,118.00 Merchant *** PayJustNow *** The transaction timed out while being processed in-store. No receipt was generated, and the purchase was not completed. At the time, I was informed that the matter would be resolved through a wallet refund from PayJustNow. Since then, I have made numerous attempts to have this issue resolved. However, I have been subjected to conflicting information from both Builders and PayJustNow. On 28 May 2026, PayJustNow support advised that no refund instructions had been received and that only the merchant could initiate a refund. Subsequently, Builders responded on 31 May 2026, stating that they are unable to reverse or amend the transaction because it is managed by PayJustNow and that PayJustNow is responsible for investigating and resolving the matter. As a customer, I find it unacceptable that I am being referred back and forth between the merchant and PayJustNow without any resolution. This matter has remained unresolved since 23 May 2026, despite my efforts to follow the guidance provided by both parties.
