PaymyFines - Quality Controls

Very disappointing experience with PayMyFines and what appears to be a serious lack of basic verification and quality control.

A fine was incorrectly linked to me even though the photographic evidence clearly shows a different registration number and a completely different make of vehicle from the one I own.

This should have been picked up before the fine was associated with my profile. Surely basic quality-control checks should include comparing the registration number shown in the photograph with the registered vehicle details, as well as checking that the make and model actually match.

What is particularly frustrating is that PayMyFines made the incorrect association, yet I am expected to go through a dispute process to have their error corrected. Why should a customer have to dispute something that a basic verification check would have shown was not their vehicle?

I am not the owner of the vehicle shown in the fine and have no association with it. The fine should be removed from my profile and linked to the correct vehicle owner.

The fine also does not appear against me on AARTO, eNaTIS, or any other official source I have checked, which further suggests that this is an error within PayMyFines' system or matching process.

PayMyFines needs to investigate how fines are matched to individuals and improve its quality-control processes. Incorrectly associating traffic fines with the wrong person is not a minor inconvenience — customers should be able to trust that the information displayed against their profile has been properly verified.
