violation of POPi act
bunch of ******, contravening the POPi act NOWHERE did I give them any permission to access my information. My friend mistakingly used them to pay a fine, as his vehicle license was held back because of the unpaid fine. Now they recon him it will only show on eNATIS in 48 working days time!!

We do apologize for the frustration experienced in this matter. Kindly be advised that fines are updated within 48 hours when done on the payCity website. Only if it were a warrant of arrest or an enforcement would his license be held back if those fines are not paid.

It should not have taken 48 days, but 48 hours. You were notified of fines because you are registered on the payCity website. Notification was sent to all payCity clients.

Once you are registered on the payCity website, it automatically gets loaded on the database, so whenever a fine is loaded, you will get notified via email or sms of outstanding fines.
