PayCity payment ****
Received a fine for allegedly exceeding the speed limit. I want to pay but there is absolutely no discount, as with the rest of South Africa, for admission of guilt payment. They actually add another R15 to the fine. Are they collecting on behalf of Cape Town with a fat kick back. If I phone to get details of banking I get told I must just pay them, there is no other account to pay directly to the traffic authority, which screams to me of another money skimming from the public. What a shame that we always get bad side and I thought it is better in Cape Town, meaning D A control.
Hi Joe, The City of Cape Town does include discounted fines, if you would like to have your fine reduced you will need to contact the municipality. payCity does not have any banking details, we only accept credit card payments which is 3d secured. The convenience fee is R 19 per transaction.
