JHB LICENSING DEPARTMENT DO NOT TRUST THEM AND ADVISE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO STAY FAR AWAY!!!

They will spam your mobile phone with text messages for outstanding fines due and payable, and even email you with photographs of your car but do not say where the photographs were taken or where the traffic transgression took place to warrant a fine. Only showing alleged speed limits. They then want you to create an account to pay your traffic fines. I do not know where they got my email adress. Long story short, after reading many horrible reviews here about PayCity I followed my gut and did not make any payment on their website. I went straight to my local licensing department & they said I made a wise choice to not pay anything on the PayCity website. The licensing department in JHB informed me that PayCity is a gimmick_/counterfeit website, they charge you double for your fines and even if you pay the traffic fines on there, it never shows as PAID and will still show as DUE on your name. NOT EVEN THE LICENSING DEPARTMENT TRUSTS PAYCITY, which tells you everything you need to know about them. If you want to know if you have any outstanding fines - go to the local licensing department in the old fashioned way, and pay your fines there in the right way.
