INVALID TOKENS AND COMPLETE LACK OF RESOLUTION
We purchased tokens on Tuesday 4 August 2015 and our meter wouldn't accept these tokens. I contacted PayCity and they referred me to our local council who in turn has logged a call for a technician to inspect our meter. We subsequently ran out of electricity and purchase another token via online banking which our meter accepted, thus ruling out a problem with our meter. I have had to purchase another token as the issue still hasn't been resolved and am now being penalised by being charged more for less units.
I feel this is terribly unfair and am at my wits end trying to get hold of someone at the council to assist.
I need to have my tokens reissued to avoid being penalised more for other persons incompetence and I trust you will be able to assist me as a matter of urgency.
Please refrain from referring me to the council, as they are completely useless and refuse to accept that as your solution.
I would like to apologise for the inconvenience that you have experienced.
The standard procedure when a token is rejected by the meter is for the municipality to inspect the reason for the rejection. We will however be happy to assist you in resolving this matter and a representative will be contacting you shortly for some more information that we can assist further.
