PUTTING THEIR CLIENTS IN A WORSE SITUATION

To all reading this,

Never, ever, make use of this company. Why? My fiance and I app**** for debt counselling in September 2015. We have been paying the agreed every month. I referred two other people to them (successful) and was promised some sort of Woolworths voucher that I still have not received, I have enquired about it three/four times and I was promised that it will be sent by my "service officer". I have stopped asking, because I realised that they do not care. This is is just a droplet in the pond. I have monitored my creditors balance every month and the balances reflected on the statement which I receive monthly from Pay Plan. I have noticed that something is wrong, I saw that most of our creditors balances was in arrears, and it is only getting worse every month. I phoned my "service officer" about it a few times and wait for an answer +/- 20 days. Still I have not received any answer. Our Court order has still not been issued...

My fiance phoned Pay Plan on 17/05/2016, asking about the issue and what is going on, to make a long storie short, Pay Plan did not realised in the past 7 months that the creditors are not decreasing the installment amount as agreed...What now?? We had to query it from our side 8/9 times, Pay Plan was to busy taking all the fees they deduct from my installment every month (total of fees deducted +/- R 10'892 thus far) to care about making my life better. We have still not received any feedback from them and I dont think we will.

Thinking about consulting National Consumer Tribunal.

Dear Mr. Johannes Jooste

Thank you for highlighting your concerns and we do apologise for the inconvenienced caused.

We will speak to Desiree and advise her to honor her promise made to you about the Woolworths Voucher. This promise cannot be honored by your Admin Consultant as she was not the one who made the promise. We will definitely be following up on that matter to have this issued to you as soon as possible.

Please kindly be advised, that we have been in communication with Daniel on the 17th and the 19th of May. All your highlighted concerns has been discussed with your partner Daniel, telephonically. On the 17th of May we received and email and a response email was sent to ***. There was 7 listed items being highlighted. On even date Anthea responded to the query and followed up with a call. On the 19th May we received a call from Daniel advising us of his unemployment status. We once again followed up with an email which was sent by Marilyn. We have since, not received any response to the email on the 19th of May.

Anthea has escalated the matter to Absa( regarding the email Daniel sent on the 17th May),and is currently awaiting feedback on the arrears amounts you have highlighted. It is not all your accounts that are in arrears, it is only Absa bank accounts that reflects in arrears because they are the only creditors that have not updated their systems. We also logged a compliant with the NCR regarding Absa bank and the debt review department not updating their systems. In other matters we are experiencing the same issues and regular complaints about all Absa bank accounts.

The legal team are currently processing your court application. Anthea has tried calling you to explain your concerns. She will be in contact with you via email to confirm the best time to speak to you and work on a way forward.

Once again we do apologise about the experience you are having at this stage of the debt review process. We kindly wish to mend this relationship and hope that we can truly change your perception of Pay Plan Solutions “putting you in a worse situation”. We would like to work with you to ensure that you are sincerely placed in a better situation.

Kind regards

Administration and Queries Manager

Dear Admin & Query Manager, Please forward us proof of a response (an explanation to the problem) to the e-mail sent to support on the 17th that was routed Anthea Fernandes. We only received an e-mail on the 19th regarding the e-mail sent to PayPlan on the 19th. Which did not come from Anthea even, but from Marilyn Wentzel (thank you Marilyn for your quick response, it seems you are the only one earning the fees that we have to pay). I would like to make it clear that I was not in arrears with any of my bills except Game (RCS Card), when I joined PayPlan, after 7 months I am in arrears with almost R 20'000...So you tell me if anything in general have improved admin & query manager? Thank you for making my private information public - shows how incapable you are to be professional. At least the public can see how PayPlan handle their clients, admin & query manager.
