Please look after our kids

As a mother and a teacher patrysies has really disappointed me more than once. I am writing this review to help other mothers like myself who only wants the best for their kids. My boy is in the potty class and this review is mostly applicable to his classroom. Even though fetching my child I would hear how poorly the other kids were treated. I do not think the problem is the teacher but the total children in her class. Patrysies is more about money than actually looking after the wellbeing of children. Yes my child has been stimulated intellectually but he has not been looked after emotionally or physically. We have been sent to the ER because of a fever fit (his grandmother was 5min away and ready to fetch him from school but unfortunately only after the fit, she was phoned) because of this incident my son and I had to stay in hospital for 3 days. He has been sent home with a nappy rash more than once. He has been sent home with marks without the teacher communicating to us. The teacher has not always responded to msgs, daily dairy is not filled in as promised. I have sent voice notes that haven't been listened to. Our last straw was a huge blue bump on my son's head without any explanation, till today we don't know how it happened. He has been complaining about a boy that keeps hurting him more than once. We didn't know the seriousness of the situation because we haven't been informed by any teacher. After our enquiry about the blue bump on his head it was said that the same boy hurt him during the day and nothing was mentioned to us. This was earlier that day and not when the bump happened. As a teacher I do not believe that the skills in the report card have been assessed. I do not think it is possible for any person/child to get the exact same "code" for about 20 skills. A report has no impact in any way but I was excited to get my only child's first report and after opening it I didn't even bother to read all the skills since I honestly think it hasn't been assessed. Unfortunately the list goes on. The biggest problem was that my son didn't get the attention he deserved. He hated school and every single day was a struggle to get him out of the house. We wouldn't have minded paying more if we had the opportunity because his wellbeing is our only concern. He loved his teacher and we believe she loved him but we are only human and being a foundation phase teacher(not even a creche teacher having to do nappies or potty training) I know that one child makes a big difference in a class. I really hope patrysies will make the total of kids less and focus on the kids they have.
