Take people for a ride

In June 16 2021 I went to mediclinic pathcare in Vanderbijlpark. Upon completing the form, I informed the pathologist that I got authorization codes from my medical aid, codes that they should use to claim for the test charges/costs. The two ladies spoke amongst themselves and said they dont get why all patients provide them with codes and they said no it's not required. I remember they were about to knock off and didnt care much to find out about the codes I gave them. They did the tests and then a few days later I got a bill with the wrong code on, codes that the medica aid does not cover. Now I am sitting with a bill I did not budget for. My medical aid requested that the accounts department submit another claim with the codes that they have provided me with and then they will cover the costs but they refused to do so. Now I'm stuck with a bill.
