I had to do blood tests this morning at pathcare in Kuilsriver Netcare . The staff there are very friendly and helpful. Now I have been going to pathcare for blood tests on numerous occasions over the months, and not once have I encountered a bad experience. Today however the nurse that assisted me handle me in a rough way like she wasn't concerned if I get hurt or not. Now yes I know that a needle is going to be stuck into my arm but the manner in which 1 puts it in does matter to me. She was not gentle at all with this, even when she was done she pulled the needle out so fast and now a few hours later I feel alot of pain in my arm. I just wanted to create the awareness that when nurses deal with patients they need to have a gentle approach at all times. This girl was not unfriendly but it's like she just wanted to get done quickly.
