Refund Nightmare

I have been struggling to get my refund from Pathcare for almost a month! I had a credit of R288 on my account. I received an account of R2451 of which I only had to pay R2163 as the R288 was deducted from the amount. My medical aid ended up paying the Pathcare account of R2451 (obviously my credit had nothing to do with them). I have followed up numerous times to get a refund. On Monday I was told the money will be released and I received R720.70 instead of the R2451! I followed up again, refunds department doesn't answer the phone. How long will I have to fight to get the 1730.30 owed to me? I tried to do the right thing by paying my account early, in case Discovery didn't cover the claims. The only thing it proves is that businesses, this one in particular don't care about doing the right thing. Their only interest is in keeping your funds in their account as long as possible... Maybe you'll even forget about it and they end up scoring.
