I have resigned from PathCare on the 26th February 2020 and sent through all the required documents and forms for my Sanlam Provident Fund withdrawal, decided to contact Sanlam on the 6th of May 2020 instead of PathCare HR (Thinking they had submitted my forms to Sanlam) However to my surprise the agent I spoke to (Stephanie) said they only received my forms on April 28th 2020,she then advised that they will be processed for tax etc on their side and I should follow up that very following Friday to check on the status thereof. I have been contacting them to find out the progress thereof and several customer consultants have given me the contact details of Lynette that is responsible for the Company's Provident fund claims at a Cape Town Office ***,I have been contacting the number that goes unanswered with each attempt day in day out. This is just utter *********** administration on either companies behalf,I can't be sent from pillar to post as if I am applying for a loan on money that is due to me, understanding of the current lockdown and all of ourselves,I am expecting some sort of delays but not in the form of not being in the know as to what exactly is happening, there is no communication whatsoever from my previous employer nor their fund administrators with regards to letting their clients know about the status of my claim.
