Pathcare or Careless

Pathcare deemed it prudent to hand my so called bad debt over to debt collectors. What debt and when was the invoice sent to me? And reading some other posts it looks like this is becoming a bad habit. The only invoice for tests not paid by my medical aid received from Pathcare (23/2/2015) was settled the following week (4/3/2015). This invoice had no mention of other outstanding funds from 2014. Now a mediocre amount of R187.90 is causing much more frustration and discontent than it’s worth and could have been completely eliminated.

After digging through all my medical aid transaction on the Discovery website for 2014 I eventually found this non-payment amount from the medical aid, so I am not contesting the fact that there is outstanding money. The concern lies in no invoice received. The money to your debt collectors will be paid tomorrow, but all of this could have been prevented by a simple email or a phone call. You had almost two years to do so, but instead you opted for the alternative. My payment of accounts after the procedure in question have demonstrated my willingness to settle any invoice received from you. My wife has to take blood tests every couple of weeks, but nothing mentioned during those multiple visits.

Utterly disgusted in the way they handled my account. Completely unprofessional and could almost be viewed as malicious. My family and I will as far as possible refrain from using your services in future.
