Pathcare Accounts Department

Pathcare Accounts Department are pathetic! In 2019 my baby was hospitalized and I received an account in Jan. I queried an amount of R2291 which was not payed by my medical aid. My medical aid confirmed those were tests done that were not requested by the doctor. After numerous phone calls, emails ext....i had no response from pathcare. In Oct Vericred contact me and told me i was handed over to them for non payment and i need to pay them almost R4000. Again I contacted Pathcare, ontly to be told they will investigate. I spoke with Shannen Booysen and she emailed me an account. Again on the account some amounts were already payed in Jan already!!! And still no feedback with regards to the unrequested labs. Shannen said her senior will reach out to me, but another week has gone by with no feedback. Its been a year already! Pathetic!

Reviewer Update
Pathcare Bloemfontein made a mistake with my blood type. I did my blood type a couple of years back, but when I was pregnant in 2018, my gyne wanted to repeat it to get the results on file. To our surprise the result was different and changed from O+ to A+. I gave birth and signed a form in the case of blood loss they will give me blood according to my blood type. Luckily i did not need blood, but I went back to pathcare to request a repeat. My results came back as O+. Again i was confused and ask them to repeat it again, since I cannot change from O to A to O in a week. This is unaceptable!!!! You cant even rely on their accuracy!!!!!
