Pathcare *****
Last year (2024) in June my mother was admitted to Herm**** Mediclinic under emergency conditions. She's an 80yr old pensioner and has no additional income. Months after being discharged, Pathcare sent us an outrageous invoice for test that had been done without our consent. I contacted Medihelp, her medical insurance for details regarding the invoiced they refused to pay and received a list of reasons why they refused, including incorrect tarrif codes that could not be charged as well as duplicate tests that had already been paid. I forwarded Medihelps reply to their accounts department and phoned them to inform them of this. I did this three times and kept being told that they would look into it, and that they haven't received the email. Then, out the blue my mother started receiving threatening emails stating that the account have been handed over to a dept collector, Blake and Associates, now administrating collections on behalf of PathCare. For some reason, they have divided the invoices in smaller groups adding up to the same ammount as before, and have sent my mother threatening emails to pay these individual ammounts. I have since not been able to reach their accounts department.
Thank you for contacting Pathcare, please allow me to investigate and to bring resolve to your concerns raised.
