False coverage

I had chest pains, the doctor recomended blood tests and xrays. I asked the doctor are you sure this is covered by my key care plan, he said yes here is the form you just hand it in.<br> I directly went to Path care where I handed in the form. Where I asked the nurse, should we not first double check with medical aid as I can not afford to do the tests, she looked at it and said there is no need everything here is in order.<br> I proceeded to get the tests done.<br> A couple of days later I got a call saying they want an address to send the bill and I rep**** saying the above story and I was then told \ the medical is paying for it we just need to add this address".<br> <br> I would not have gotten the test if I knew I was going to pay for them.<br> I am a single mother on a tight budget"
