Excessive fees.
I took some tests to pathcare in George as my daughter was suffering from some mild stomach issues . I gave them my medical aid card and also confirmed all my medical aid details for the tests. The ladies did not indicated what the costs of the tests are and also failed to mention that the medical aid might not cover it. I then received a R4500.00 bill that i need to pay for 3 small tests for mild stomach issues. insane. I am working on reduced salary due to covid 19 and can not afford to pay this bill, i would have seeked alternative options if this was discussed with me at Pathcare. Seems like a money making scheme.
