<p>My daughter handed her laptop in to Partserve Channel Support (Cape Town) to obtain a quotation for repairs. Keep in mind that this is a laptop that was purchased for R6000 - their quotation to repair was R9900 to replace the faulty main board!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>We subsequently took the laptop to another place for a quote, and they advised that the problem is a loose wire... and that the laptop had not even been opened previously in order for anybody to be able to ascertain that there was a problem with the main board.</p> <p> </p> <p>This leads me to the conclusion that Partserve is dishonest in their dealings. Absolutely SHOCKING!!</p>
