Poor communication in booking in a printer
This company has no idea how to deliver on service.
Book my Canon printer in for a service, the agent advised that they will require print cartridges to conclude the service/testing - but I can bring this along on the day of collection.
2 weeks later and the service agents phone me that they now require the cartridges before they can start the service and or order the replacement parts.
It takes me 40 minutes to drive to their office which on my cost and time is not warranted. I've asked that the service manager phone me to see if a plan can be made for me - but the service agent advised me that the service manager does not phone customers.
Total quotes repair cost for printer = R580. Brand new printer of the same model on takealot.com = R999 which includes 2x brand new cartridges.
However I'm changing from Canon over to HP - certainly not going to deal with this service centre again.
Guess I'm buying a new printer...
