Partserve USELESS service!!!

My son's PS5 was replaced by partserve in Durban less than a year ago. The HDMI port went faulty on the new PS5 so I scheduled a collection with Partserve JHB (as we live in Plettenberg-bay now) this cost R520. After having it for over a week they said the HDMI port was broken voiding the warranty and I must pay R6200 for a refurbished unit. The service agent just sent outside photos of the PS5, so they didn't even open the unit. Now my warranty is voided and either cough up R6200 or have an ⚓️. Absolute terrible service I subsequently found out they don't even repair units just manage warrantees and sell refurbished units. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH PARTSERVE!!! I contacted Console Service Center in Boxburg who from my initial call with Rudi was a breath of fresh air. I scheduled a collection from Partserve to CSC and the unit was repaired for R670 and all shipping back to me in Plett included! You can get better than that, from the time they recieved the unit it took them an hour to repair. Blown away by the service!!! So please get your broken item to Shaun and his fantastic team +*** run fast from Partserve!!!!
