Partserve should remove the "serve" from their name as there is NO service!
What shocking customer service!! I purchased a PS 4 remote from Takealot 1 month ago. The remotes joystick is faulty and after enquiring with them directly they informed me that Partserve is the SA agents for PS fault queries and i should contact them directly.
I did so and eventually received a reply on my email. Reply stated that i should take the controller to a Partserve branch for exchange. I rep**** and stated that we do not have a Partserve branch close to where we live and asked what option they suggested and the reply was that i should take it to the Cape Town branch.
Seriously. My email signature reflects where i live and i have stated twice that there is no Partserve branch close by.
What do they advise i do? I already spent money a month ago on a faulty product, do they want me to spend more and fill a tank full of fuel and drive all the way to Cape Town to exchange the faulty product? Will there be stock when i arrive? will they want to test it first and i must attempt another trip to Cape Town to collect?
Who knows? I have sent 3 emails after the last one i received from them asking nicely what the Partserve Policy is for consumers who does not live in Cape Town? Can they perhaps courier me a replacement remote and i can return the faulty one with the courier?
No one answers my queries?
Surely there is a lot of PS queries etc as gaming has become even more popular during covid times and Partserve must have a large PS clientele because of this.
Why can they not even answer emails? How are they suppose to find faults and fix playstations!
Absolute shocking service!!
I suggest that this should be reported to Sony and they should find alternative agents in South Africa as Partserve does not deem the PS clients as important.
