Partserve Channel Support Printer Repair

My Canon Printer Maxify, MB 2040 needed repair and service. I took it to Partserve and they quoted after 1 week an amount of R 3384 to repair and service. A BRAND NEW UPDATED CANON PRINTER COSTS R 2499 AT INCREDIBLE CONNECTION AT 4 WAYS!!! I REJECTED (SIC)THEIR QUOTE AND COLLECTED MY MACHINE. I took it to INKSURE in 4 ways Mall for a second opinion. Their outsourced repair contractor repaired and serviced my Canon Printer for R 895. It did take 3 weeks for the repair and service. They are incredibly busy- I wonder why? The printer is working perfectly. Partserve advertises that "they are the leading IT Outsource Company" and "Out of Warranty Repairer". At their exorbitant prices, they must be coining it. On collecting my printer I asked them how they can charge R3384 when a NEW printer only costs R 2499? I did not get any response or answer to my question. "Take it or leave it is obviously their view." Please warn other unsuspecting consumers.
