Never buy Lenovo. The spares agents are useless.

The part was ordered on Wednesday. I was told there was stock at the Durban branch where I placed the order. It was paid for that evening, I went through to collect it. I was tended to rather quickly as they were quiet. I then waited an hour. Only after complaining about the extended wait, I found out that the stores staff couldn't find it so had put the picking slip a side and left me to wait. I was assure that the part will be ordered from another branch and be here on Monday. I am then told that there is a problem with the courier, only after I chased it up, and it will be here Tuesday. There doesn't seem to be a branch manager and I spoke to another lady who claimed to be filling in for the branch manager, only after asking to speak to the person who is in charge since there is no available branch manager. She promised to get to the bottom of the issue and call me back shortly. More than half an hour has passed. I have now gone online and seen all the "fantastic" reviews. I then phoned the laptop manufacturer directly, Lenovo, and asked them to provide me details for a spares supplier other than PartServe, but they just transfered me directly back to the Durban branch of PartServe. The same guy who I started the transaction with was rather offended that I am not happy with the service they are giving and told me the part will be here tomorrow (Tuesday). I am expected to be thrilled and happy with this lack of interest and the fact is I have now lost a massive contract because of this one failed transaction. They don't seem to care and think they are doing a fantastic job. Wish I could give them -5 stars.
