Inaccurate disgnosis and rude customer service

Absolutely horrific service, an HP laptop was quote on a repair in excess of R8000.00, diagnosis was that main board was blown, and a replacement was needed, I rejected this quote and this was more than just buying a new laptop.

I take the laptop home and test myself, the board works just fine, any test on the mainboard with a multimeter would have confirmed this. I replaced the battery and lo and behold, the laptop is working 100%, the only reason I sent it in is because I was busy and thought this would make my life easier. I have sent a mail, and went in to the store physically to raise this, the receptionist at the front desk just blatantly ignored my concerns. As of right now (18/09/2023 @08h41) no response, apology or course of corrective action has been taken.
