Dissatisfied and disappointed with service.

Partserve canobia Worst company to deal with. Had an issue with my canon printer that was bought by Friend who resides in America and was stuck in the country due to COVID. He left in November 2020 when international flights where opened. However he had misplaced the purchase slip for it and I purchased it from him as it was new used a few times less than 20 pages printed. I decided to use the printer and realise it was not printing in black yet all toners wer 100 percent full and orignal. I contacted Canon and was refered to Partserve who are the repair center for them. Went to them booked it in and was told there's no warranty as I do not have the proof of purchase. I agreed to have it checked out and stipulated that the cartridges are full that was captured on the book in document. I was called a few days later and a quote was received for over R3500. I contacted Canon and they assisted me by wavering the labour cost. Note that item has costed me R5000 purchased from my friend then R2700 for repairs. Never the less I had it repaired and apon collection I asked sales lady who was attending to my repair if my cartridges are full. Her response was that they tested the cartridges to verify they work and the technician uses his own test cartridges to carry out all tests and was assured my cartridges are full. I took the unit home plugged it on and viewed the toner levels. To my disappointment they used 35 percent on my Toners.. When I enquired I was told that they cannot and did not use that much. Total *******. Is this how we consumers get ********** and the manager then opts to give me a discount on my next repair. You guys are offering a service that you get paid for and you still want to rip us off. I don't recommend Partserve in Durban canobia. As for Canon they have been emailed but no response from them neither. Don't recommend dealing with them for any purchases.
