Partners V&A Profiling and Horrible Service

After having had a complex about the size of my ears for the past 30 years, I finally made the bold decision to cut my hair short. I considered using the cheap store on the corner but quickly convinced myself that I needed a "professional" to handle a task of this magnitude. I called Partners V&A Waterfront and found it relatively easy to make a booking. I arrived on time and was shown to the basin to have my hair washed. I removed the jacket I was wearing and nervously held it in my hands while the assistant washed and massaged my hair. At the moment of utmost relaxation my stylist explained to her assistant that she was going to the toilet and that I should wait for her return. I anxiously sit in the chair while my anxiety builds. Finally, My stylist returns and asks what I would like to have done. I explain my situation and show her a picture. She acknowledges and spends the next 10minutes explaining to her assistant how to "always place the customer at the hairdryer". Finally, she starts to cut my hair. While we awkwardly continue in silence, I notice how the foreign, white and well dressed males are greeted. Each one is offered to have their jacket or hat taken and served either a coffee or water. Suddenly I become thirsty thinking I shouldn't have worn this broken jeans. The entire haircut is over in less than 20minutes and is not anything close to what I had asked for. I feel very dissatisfied but find the courage to pay my R220. After walking in the mall I realize that she had not even shown me the back of my hair. I catch a glimpse after passing a mirror and am very dissatisfied. I return to the store and wait for my stylist who admittedly says that she forgot to show me and asks me to wait while she is chatting to her client who is drinking coffee and having his ears waxed. This was overall a horrible experience
