Green with an ORANGE streak

I visited the Tygervalley mens branch on Saturday 12th February for what should have been a straight forward request by professionals. My hair as I arrived was a very light blonde visually appearing white. I requested to have a Brazilian treatment done and tone my hair grey as it was previously but had washed out since. The hair consultant had mentioned that she would be able to do it without any challenges and obtained extra hands from the woman’s branch. The Brazilian was completed and my hair was cut with the slight after sensation of a burn but this is what I’d expect from the Brazilian. Baring in mind that I have a sensitive scalp and that the consultant was running a metal comb through it during this entire process, told myself: “suck it up, you’re a big boy”. With a purple Brazilian product being used I was so excited as I could see the grey colour I intended before even toning my hair. This is when this turned horrible, the consultant then went and mixed the toner and app**** it to my hair, turning my previously slightly grey hair due to the Brazilian to a brown so close to my natural colour. She then called her mother for help with what to do and told me the ***ments in everyone’s hair does not pick up colour the same way. She could have left my hair the colour it was if she did not know what to do!!! I’m guessing the recommendation from her mother was to was the colour out by using certain shampoo’s, a strong memory of the smell of tea tree. This then lightened the colour. By this time my scalp was on fire I needed to get to work and the entire visit was dissatisfying. She dried my hair and when attempting to flat iron one piece of hair, luckily in the back it turned a bright ORANGE, I paid and this was the dumbest thing on my part. I had a scalp that felt on fire, hair that was described as green by friends and colleagues and a great orange streak in the back. I was asked if I could return in the week for them to correct the colour, I explained I work full time and they asked me to work remotely, I expressed I don’t want to go through a week with hair in this state. I was asked to return the same day but by then I was in pain and didn’t trust them to fix their mess. My scalp was oozing and I have disgusting images to show. I called the store the Sunday and asked for a refund. Was told to wait for Head office the Monday, 2 weeks later and I’m still waiting. I received a call from a store clerk the Monday requesting the images which I sent over and nothing since. I called head office last Thursday and the lady that dealt with complaints was off. I’m still waiting for her to call me back. I will never be returning to partners after years of going to either Waterfront, Tygervalley or Claremont.
