Your vehicle is not safe being booked through this company

I booked my vehicle in with valet parking "Park and Smile" through the ParkVia website at my recent trip departing from King Shaka Airport. On receiving my vehicle back a week later I experienced the following issues: 1) Dent: The vehicle was returned to me with no mention of a new dent in the left front fender. I had to discover this myself at the time of delivery in the middle of the night and raise the issue with the person returning the car and the company in writing. 2) ****** fuel: I delivered my vehicle with more than half a full fuel tank and a mileage of km 161 665 but when I received the vehicle back the tank was almost empty (about 30 liters of fuel missing) but with only another 33 km added to the mileage. This was also reported with a photograph of the mileage and the fuel gage from the day of delivery and the day at pickup of the vehicle. 3) Broken tail fog light. This I only noticed after getting home as the tail light cover after damage had been neatly cut out as to look less conspicuous.

The above matters, including forwarding of photos was raised with both "ParkVia" and the operator "Park with a smile". As parkVia is only a booking portal they claim they cannot be kept responsible for any incidents occuring while the vehicle is left in care of the operators. Park with a smile has ignored my numerous phone calls and emails although they initially accepted to pay for the missing fuel. This experience has cost me thousands of rand and I can not recommend booking your vehicle in for valet parking through parkvia. Rather spend the extra money and park safely at the airport. Should any incidents occur while your vehicle is under the care of one of their advertised operators it seems that you will be left completely without any rights.
