My vehicle was driven unnecessarily, returned with less fuel, smelling of cannabis, and in an unacceptable condition
I am extremely disappointed by the service I received from this airport parking company. I dropped my vehicle off on 30 June at 05:11, and the driver collected it. My vehicle arrived at the parking facility at approximately 05:20, which I could confirm through my vehicle's tracking device. However, from around 08:00 onwards, my tracking system repeatedly showed my vehicle being switched on, driven for periods of time, switched off, and then moved again throughout the day until approximately 18:30. When I contacted the company via WhatsApp and by phone, I was told that the vehicle may simply have been moved between parking bays. Based on the tracking history, these were not isolated, short movements. Interestingly, after I raised the issue, the movements stopped. Before leaving for my trip, my car had been professionally washed just a few days earlier and was clean inside and out. I also had sufficient fuel in the tank. When I returned on 2 July to collect my vehicle, I was shocked by what I found. The driver waiting in my vehicle had his feet resting on my dashboard, which I found completely disrespectful and unacceptable. Once I got into my car, it had a strong smell of cannabis. I do not smoke, and the smell was overwhelming. In addition, my fuel level had dropped to the orange reserve level, meaning I had to immediately stop to refuel before driving home. I also noticed footprints on my seats, despite the vehicle having been freshly cleaned before I left it in the company's care. I even took the car for a full car wash after collecting it, hoping the smell would disappear. Unfortunately, later that day, when I opened the car again, the cannabis smell was still present, suggesting the odour had become embedded in the interior. I entrusted this company with my vehicle expecting it to be parked safely—not driven around unnecessarily, returned with significantly less fuel, left smelling of cannabis, and treated with such little respect. This experience caused me unnecessary expense, inconvenience, and a complete loss of trust. I cannot recommend this company to anyone based on my experience and hope they investigate what happened to my vehicle while it was in their care and take accountability for the condition in which it was returned.
