Parkvia - worst service ever!

<p>We booked parking at Parkvia Durban harbour for our cruise from Friday, 17 February 2017 until Friday, 24 February. When we left the car with Imtiaz (aka Jack) on the Friday morning, my husband asked him if it will be safe to leave valuables in the car. Imtiaz ensured him that everything in the car will be safe as he will be the only person driving the vehicle. Pieter told him that he left valuables in the cabuel, but that it can't lock. Imtiaze told him once again that everything will be safe. Coming back from our cruise on Friday, 24 February, Pieter checked the cabuel immediately and noticed that the Leatherman he left in the car was ******. We went through the car and found that somebody went through the car and other items was also missing (1 x sunglasses, 1 x Sandvik knife, 1 x Leatherman, 1 x parker pen). We contacted Imtiaz while still on the harbour and went to discuss the matter with him. According to him, there were several drivers who drove the car and that the car was not kept at the harbour. We told him that this was not what they told us when we left the car with Parkvia. We wanted to go to the police station and open up a case of theft, but Imtiaz said that he will speak to his drivers and find out who took the items. We contacted Imtiaz several times and were told that we must just wait, he will get back to us. I informed him that we had to buy a new Leatherman and that we must be refunded for the items that were ******. Imtiaz said that we must send him the invoice and that he will get back to us. Until now, we haven't heard from him again. I want to warn other customers to never make use of this service, as your vehicle are not safe with these people. </p>
