King Shaka Valet parking ******* artists

I recently used Park and Smile valet parking service at King Shaka Airport. The advert and web page is hugely misleading and i had a really bad experience. The car was collected as promised but thats where the service ended. When the car was picked up the fuel gauge was far lower than when left. The ad says parking is less than 1 km from pickup. When i checked the tracker reports it was found the car was stored off site about 8km away. After a few days the temptation seems to have got too great and it was used extensively to seemingly collect and drop off people from various locations to the airport. In all a total of 218km was racked up.

The car was late on pickup and when questioned the lady said there was an accident so she had to use another route. The tracker report shows that she made an earlier trip to the airport on the morning of pickup and thus the reason for her being late.

Of course it is practically impossible to get hold of them on the customer support lines and when I eventually got them via e mail the initially apologised and said they would do a refund. When i followed this up they said it would be made nearly a month later as this was the policy to pay on 15th of the month.

Just a warning to all out there, avoid, avoid avoid. If you are brave enough to use them be sure to set your tracker alert and have them hunted down immediately they make unauthorised use of your vehicle.

I shudder to think of the day they make an accident with a client car.
