Money hungry! No compassion for their patients!

Second Bad experience with this vet! I had my puppy by them at the emergency room on a sunday night as he wasn't doing well. They gave him the diagnosis of worms. Later the week, I had rushed his through for nausea and diarrhea and not eating, lethargic and so on again. They gave me the same diagnosis, charging me an arm and a leg again. He them was rushed back again only to be given the same diagnosis and meds. They had tested for parvo and cat flu but never distemper! He had every symptom other than seizures! Sunday thd 13th September he started having seizures. When we phoned to bring him through again we were told that the cannot help without us paying the R1000. By then they had already emptied our pockets and yet refused to help! We were told to make a loan from a family member! We rushed through to TAH, who agreed to help us with a payment plan. Unfortunately Max tested positive for distemper at TAH and we could not save him.. because of the diagnosis of worms we didn't stress too much when needing to get babysitters for our boy when we are at work and Unfortunately one of the sitters dogs also contracted the virus. I have sent them an email expressing my concerns. Just for me to be told they disagree with me and did what they thought was best. Also told me that he didn't have any symptoms as the seizures started later. Seizures are not the only symptom! With the prices that they charge for visits they should do all the tests necessary! People who aren't even qualified pointed out to me that he is showing signs of distemper, before the seizures! A few years prior my family dog got parvo but it took three paid visits for them to even test for it. Once again all the symptoms were present. Address them with the problems dont help as they just deny deny deny. Will never use them again!!!
