Heartless Communication and service

<p>On the 24th of Feburary 2017 we phoned Panorama Veterinary Clinic as our 3 year old cat who was pregnant and had given birth to a single still born kitten and we suspected that the other kittens that were still inside were also dead but unable to be expelled</p> <p>At this point we explained that we did not have any funds and needed help</p> <p>My wife was then told that Dr Burger said via the receptionist he will not let the cat suffer and we should rush the cat PVC which we did +- 16 km's (during this telephone conversation at not point did the term put the animal down was mentioned)</p> <p> </p> <p>Once we were there we were given a form to sign and the cat was rushed away</p> <p>Had my wife not followed the cat would have being huthinised without prior explination</p> <p>Only once the Dr had requested that my wife not enter the room was it explained what was about to take place</p> <p>It is at this point in time that my wife got very emotional and started to rais her voice</p> <p>This went on for about 5 minutes and the Dr then shoved a page in her face saying is this your signiture is this your pet laughing in her face all the way</p> <p>I manged to get my wife out the door </p> <p> </p> <p>Later that night we were able to get to another vet who looked at the cat and found that there were no kittens left inside but was rather constipated </p> <p>Has the vets at PVC taken the chance and actually looked at the cat they would have reliased that there was no need for a death sentance but they were not willing to do that</p> <p>What they were willing to do is **** the cat as a stray and when we wanted to prevent that from taking place we were humilated and treated like **** all this taking place in front of our two young children </p> <p>Of which that cat belongs to one of them</p> <p> </p> <p>Take what you will from this but it is my opion that PVC is only intrested in money and not the well being of animals and if at all I can help it they will be the last service provider I would recommend </p> <p> </p> <p>You may be thinking right now "you are just one person" and you are right </p> <p>But it takes one vote to win or loose </p>
