Dog went in for a spayed and came out limping and still limps 2 months later ..

Hi,

I am very unhappy about my dog and the service I received from this practice. I took my dog in for a spayed and she came out limping ... They told me that she must take it easy for a while which she did. We live in a complex so she does not have much room to run or jump etc.. Also one of us is always present.

I assumed that she would get better with time, but that was not the case. After 1.5 months we tried to throw a tennis ball for her and she ran after it and her legs gave in under her thus resulting in her nail being torn which cost me additional expenses as a result of her operation and limp that she came out with. She cannot even climb on the couch or stand up sometimes without great effort which is very strange to us. She was full of life and moving around from in and out the car to on and off the couch before she went for her operation.

It has now reached a stage where today we took her for a walk at a isolated park and she started limping eventually .....

She is not even 2 years old and she is struggling to support her body with her back legs. The right rear leg is the problem and she cries at night also EVERY night !!

Every day I regret taking her to this doctor / vet as this changed her life DRASTICALLY !! She is not the same dog she was and we have had MANY dogs and breeds that got spayed without a limp ....

Like I said at first I thought it was part of the operation as she was starting to go on heat when she went in as the doctor said but promised that everything would be fine.....

I called on the 4th Feb 2022 16:16 pm and they said the doctor was on leave and they would leave a message with her to call me on tuesday !!! It is now Saturday and I have heard NOTHING from the vet ( Almost like they do not care what they did ). I was told she would call, but to date I still await her call.... ( Today is the 12th - pathetic really ) Sunnay or shauney answered the call and subliminally indirectly tried to assume that the torn nail will be the reason for her limp when in fact that is the result of the operation that this happened. She was 100 % before she went in there ..

My companion is not even 2 years old and she cannot walk properly ????
