Bad service

<p>I called in to make an appointment for a bird to have his general check up and wings clipped etc, the receptionist informed me that there was a locum on duty and that I can just pop in before 1pm. now I live fairly far away from this clinic and travelled for some time to get there. When I arrived they tell me that there is no one on duty to assist with a general check up. I have now wasted half a day driving to and from this clinic for absolutely no reason. if only the staff could be more professional and knowledgeable then they could have told me over the phone that I should wait until the new year when the regular vet is on duty again. </p>
