Service complaint

<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>I was in Panarottis Paarl Mall on Thursday, 03 November 2016. </p> <p> </p> <p>I came in first and got an table immediately. Sitting there and waiting for my friends to join me, no one not even the manager came to ask if I was okay. After my friends joined me someone came to take our drinks order.</p> <p> </p> <p>As our waiter she didn't even introduce herself to us or told us that she is going to be our waiter for the evening. We gave her our drinks order and then she came back with the drinks.</p> <p> </p> <p>My friend asked for ice in her glass of water but the girl just ignored her flatly and didn't even apologised or gave an explanation of the ice.</p> <p> </p> <p>My sister in law's daughter messed with her cooldrink and we had to look for someone to help us clean up, the same happened later in the evening when another glass of water spilled on the table. </p> <p> </p> <p>My friend then asked for another glass of water and she is still waiting on that water.</p> <p> </p> <p>When we wanted to leave we couldn't find the waiter and had to sit around and wait for her to finally arrive. We then still had to wait for her to get us our bill.</p> <p> </p> <p>I myself worked in a restaurant and I know that that wasn't service that was given to us last night. I am also working in retail for the past 8 years now and service is one of the top qualities that make or break an environment. </p> <p> </p> <p>Panarottis wasn't that full last night, that she can say that she was too busy to just pop round at the table and ask if everything is okay. Even the manager stood at the cash register the whole time and didn't walk around to see if his clients are well looked after.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel that this is unacceptable behaviour. This isn't the first time that I visited Panarottis and the last time I was there on a Thursday, the place where more packed but the service was much better.</p> <p> </p> <p>I still do not know the name of the waiter that assisted us and I don't even know the name of the manager.</p>
