Panarottis service was well under par

I went to Table Bay Panarottis with my family to celebrate our son's first day in Grade 1. We got there at about 515 and the place was relatively queit, perhaps 5 tables occupied. there was one waitress at the door chatting to waiters at the Spur entrance. When we walked up to the entrance she kept her back to us completely ignoring us. We stood there increasingly looking stupid and feeling unwelcome then one of the floor managers seems to have beckoned her to act then she came and ushered us to the back of the restaurant where we were left dumped. No introduction, no drinks order, even for our 6 year old nor the 3 year old! After 10 minutes we raised our hands to get service at which point we expressed our dismay. The waitress who had dumped us explained it was "rotation" and seemed to think it was funny. I was not amused and got very angry because we had driven further than usual JUST to be at Panarottis! We decided to leave. The offer of free drinks was not good enough to quell our anger. We felt treated like sh*t and unwanted. I know when no one wants to serve me, I've been in the food industry too, so I did not at all appreciate this experience.

Our evening was spoiled by the bad attitude and lack of empathy on the part of the waitress and Panarottis as a brand! You need to pull your socks up. Very very disappointed.
