Left without eating

<p>I got greeted nicely and offered a seat when i arrived. The waitress just said she will give me time to look at the menu without asking me if i want to order a drink. I guess your menu is too hard to read because she took about 20 minutes to check on me.</p> <p> </p> <p>After taking my order, she disappeared again for 30 minutes until the manager asked me if i was assisted. I told her No and she promised to get it sorted. Mind you i havent even ordered a drink at the time. I waited another 15 minutes while other waiters were minding their tables and giving me the sympathy look. I left and no one even bothered to ask me anything</p> <p> </p> <p>I was on a banting diet and this was supposed to be my cheat meal as i was really craving pasta. I left Cappucinos because i thought their pasta cannot be as good as yours. I wouldnt know now because i didnt get to taste anything but sat for 1 hour watching Cricket on my own without even a simple drink</p> <p> </p> <p>I am new in Secunda and relocated from Gauteng. I dont know if my expectations are too high but i thought service is standard everywhere. I am yet to find a restaurant that will provide the efficent service i am used to </p>
