False Advertising

Hi Everyone

On Wednesday the 12/09/2018 I wanted to purchase the any 2 large pizzas or pastas special they have advertised on their website for R149.90. As I was trying to place my order at the Panarottis Woodfired Express Uitenhage the lady informed me over the phone that the special is only applicable to the classic and traditional pizzas and not to the gourmet pizzas.

Before I called to place my order I inspected the special on their website to make sure of any restrictions that may apply to the above mentioned special. I told the lady that the website is stating ANY 2 large pizzas. I settled for pizzas from the classic and traditional pizzas.

I then phoned panarottis customer care number on their website to tell them of the false advertising. The lady took my order that I originally wanted, the branch I ordered from and she told me that the previous lady I spoke to was wrong in saying that the special was only on classic and traditional pizzas and that in fact it was for ANY 2 large pizzas.

She later phoned me back and said that she would put a complaint against the store and that a person would call me back. They phoned me on Friday the 14/09/2018 to tell me that the special is not applicable to a Express store. I told her that no where on there website does it state that it excludes Express stores.

So finally I would then like to warn everyone interested in this special offered by Panarottis Pizza Pasta to be aware that this is false advertising on their behalf.
