I signed a fibre contract with Oxygn Ballito after being promised installation within 2 to 3 weeks. It has now been 7 weeks with absolutely no feedback pertaining to the actual installation. I am being actively pushed around by Niloshni. Because of this massive delay, I urgently needed internet and opted to source another service provider, they are now refusing to cancel my contract and holding me at ransom. I hereby submit my formal complaint via this platform so they can release me with zero penalties as they defaulted their deadline by over 5 weeks. I emailed them three times and was ignored, I shall move over to the next step if they do not respond.

Oxygn are the worst internet providers in South Africa and they are ******. I made payment on beginning of May 2026 and they never showed up to install and I had to make countless phone calls and emails to enquire. After a month I was informed that they were not able to install the Wi-Fi so I was supposed to get a refund within 10 days it been 2 months without a refund. I'm sick and tired having to follow these people with my money. Their services are really disappointing and distasteful.😡

I signed up with Oxygn Ballito in December 2025 after experiencing ongoing issues with my previous WiFi service provider. I was referred by a friend who was happy with their fibre service. The fibre installation was done the same afternoon, which initially seemed very efficient. However, the problems started shortly thereafter. I live in a double-storey house, and while fibre was installed in the lounge and my son’s bedroom upstairs, there was no WiFi coverage downstairs. At no point during the installation was I advised that additional equipment would be required to ensure proper coverage throughout the house. I contacted MJ shortly after the installation and was told that someone would be sent out to assess the issue. This did not happen. I waited until after the festive season and followed up multiple times before someone eventually came out. When a technician finally attended, I was informed that I would need a booster. I requested a quote and was shocked to receive one for nearly R4,000. This requirement and cost should have been identified and disclosed upfront during the initial installation, not after the service was already installed and paid for. The lack of follow-up, poor communication, and failure to properly assess my home before installation has resulted in unexpected additional costs. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I feel that the service was not transparent from the outset. I would caution anyone considering Oxygn Ballito to ensure that all coverage requirements and costs are clearly explained before proceeding.
